The Cottage in the Wood: Where Wilderness Meets Fine Dining

Located in the heart of Whinlatter Forest, between Keswick and Cockermouth, The Cottage in the Wood has long prided itself on delivering creative cuisine and exceptional service. Led by husband-and-wife-duo Beth and Jack Bond, the pair have gained experience in some of the most world renowned restaurants. Jack has worked in some of the best restaurants and hotels in the world, including Eleven Madison Park, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Claridges and the Berkeley; Beth, meanwhile, has a background in managing sustainable restaurants, most notably the acclaimed Apricity Restaurant in Mayfair, London.
