Dynamic Vines

The UK’s leading importer of premium biodynamic wine

Founded in 2005, Dynamic Vines is the UK’s leading importer of premium biodynamic wine.

Based under the historic railway arches at the Spa Terminus in London’s Bermondsey, the team work with independent winemakers who produce outstanding wine using sustainable practices in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar. These talented and often pioneering individuals produce wines that offer an honest reflection of their origin, their terroir, and let their unique personalities shine through.

With a focus on European wines, Dynamic Vines work with well-established producers such as Emidio Pepe, Nicolas Joly, Le Puy and Radikon alongside impressive, less well-known winemakers such as Sicus, Divella, Clos Larrouyat and Ludovic Engelvin – selling wine directly both to the UK’s top restaurants, bars and wine shops, and also to the general public.

Founder Frederic Grappe started his viticultural working life as a sommelier in various exclusive restaurants including Roussillon, Orrery and Marco Pierre White’s group. After 11 years immersing himself in the world of wine, Fred became increasingly interested in the biodynamic method of growing grapes, seeking to support those passionate and dedicated growers that produce wines of character with a sense of place, reflecting their soil, their climate and their people.

Over the past 20 years, Fred has led the company to its current position as the exclusive supplier to the UK market of premium, biodynamic wines sourced from over 60 producers across Europe. He is passionate about sharing his insight into the unique methods and philosophy used by each grower.
